In November 2012, Kyocera introduced the FS-1041 monochrome laser printer, with an OEM-rated print of 20 pages per minute (ppm) and a duty cycle of 10,000 pages per month. The FS-1320 MFP followed in January 2013 with the same OEM-rated print speed, but with an increased duty cycle of 20,000 pages per month.
The standard supplies set is made up of a toner cartridge and separate drum unit. Replacement toner cartridges are available in 12,600 page yield versions that require a chip for correct printer operation.
